OUR FISHING
The cane pole is the most simple for me and that's what I've usedmostly over the years. My great-uncle, Collin James, gave me simultaneous lessons on fishing, snake killing and cussing. I caught my first bass while he was bringing down a paddle on a water moccasin. I won't go into what comments he might have made when the snake escaped. I later realized, that while fishing was something Uncle Collin liked to do, x-ing snakes was his real passion.

We got fine fishing here in Roanoke-Chowan, with all of our creeks, ponds and rivers. Even folks from Virginia come here to fish, and they buy bait here as well!

Maybe in future months this website will have more to say about our fish and fishing tournaments. In the meantime, let me hear what you have to say about our fish at roanoke-chowan.com.

Now wouldn't any of you want to came back
with a nice bass like this one? Collin James
caught it in the Wiccacon River in Archertown.
